Exclusive: Chris Pratt & Kali Reis talk Sci-Fi Thriller 'Mercy'
Hitting theaters from Amazon MGM Studios is the sci-fi thriller ‘Mercy,’ directed by Timur Bekmambetov and starring Chris Pratt, Rebecca Ferguson, Judge Maddox, Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers.
"The future of criminal justice is Artificial Intelligence." In the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced Artificial Intelligence Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate once and for all and sends him to execution.
The screenplay is by Marco van Belle. Produced by Charles Roven, Robert Amidon, Timur Bekmambetov, & Majd Nassif.

Reis is a multi world-title-winning boxer who earned rave reviews for her first-ever television role starring opposite Jodie Foster as the co-lead of HBO’s True Detective: Night Country. Reis made her film debut in 2021’s Catch the Fair One, which she co-wrote and starred in. Reis was seen in the thriller Asphalt City opposite Sean Penn, Tye Sheridan and Mike Tyson, and will be seen in Castle Rock Entertainment’s Wind River: Rising, the sequel to Taylor Sheridan’s acclaimed 2017 drama.
