Coming to theaters on May 9 from Vertical Entertainment is the action comedy Fight or Flight, directed by James Madigan and starring Josh Hartnett, Katee Sackhoff, Charithra Chandran, and Julian Kostov. The film was written by Brooks McLaren & D.J. Cotrona.
Exiled American agent Lucas Reyes (Josh Hartnett) is given one last chance to redeem himself - the assignment is to track down and identify a mysterious, international high-value asset known only as The Ghost on a flight from Bangkok to San Francisco. Complicating matters, the plane is filled with assassins from around the world who are assigned to kill them both. The pair must work together in a fight for their lives. At 37,000 feet, the stakes have never been higher.
Hartnett’s recent works include the 2023 films Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, Christopher Nolan’s Oscar winner Oppenheimer, as well as 2024’s Trap. His earlier films include as Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998), The Faculty (1998), The Virgin Suicides (1999), Pearl Harbor (2001).
Best known for her roles as Lieutenant Kara "Starbuck" Thrace on Battlestar Galactica (2004–09), Dana Walshin the eighth season of 24, Niko Breckenridge on Another Life (2019–21), Victoria "Vic" Moretti on Longmire and Bo-Katan Kryze on The Mandalorian (2020–23).
Chandran is best known for her roles in the Amazon spy thriller series Alex Rider (2021), the second series of the Netflix period drama Bridgerton (2022), the teen romantic comedy film How to Date Billy Walsh.
Madigan previously directed the Runaways episode Last Rites and was also an associate visual effects supervisor in Iron Man 2.
