Currently playing on Prime Video is the highly anticipated Amazon Original series Night Sky, starring Academy Award winner Sissy Spacek and Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons. All eight episodes are airing exclusively on Prime Video.

Spanning space and time, Night Sky follows Irene (Spacek) and Franklin York (Simmons), a couple who, years ago, discovered a chamber buried in their backyard which inexplicably leads to a strange, deserted planet. They’ve carefully guarded their secret ever since, but when an enigmatic young man (Chai Hansen, The Newsreader) enters their lives, the Yorks’ quiet existence is quickly upended...and the mystifying chamber they thought they knew so well turns out to be much more than they could ever have imagined.

Also featured in the series are Chai Hansen, Adam Bartley, Julieta Zylberberg, Rocío Hernández, Kiah McKirnan, Beth Lacke, Stephen Louis Grush, and Cass Buggé.

One of the industry’s most respected actresses in a career spanning four decades, Spacek’s honors include an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, five additional Oscar nominations, a Grammy nomination, three Golden Globe Awards and numerous critics’ awards. Having appeared in a diverse range of projects spanning from motion pictures, television and the stage on and off-Broadway, Simmons won the 2015 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of merciless jazz instructor Fletcher in Sony Pictures Classics' Whiplash. More recently, Simmons starred alongside Chris Pratt in the sci-fi thriller The Tomorrow War, Hulu's Palm Springs alongside Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti, and appeared in the Apple TV+ miniseries Defending Jacob, based on the 2012 novel of the same name.
