Exclusive: Oscar Winner Paul Tazewell talks ‘Wicked: For Good’ Digital Release
Now available on PVOD on digital platforms since Dec. 30 in what is a 43-day exclusive theatrical window.is director Jon M. Chu's blockbuster Wicked: For Good, with most of the returning cast including Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba Thropp/ Wicked Witch, Ariana Grande as Glinda, with Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Keala Settle, Bronwyn James, and Jeff Goldblum as the iconic Wizard of Oz.
The sequel will be available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray & DVD on Jan. 20, 2026. The film comes home with two versions of the part-two, including an exclusive sing-along for fans and over one hour of bonus features, including deleted scenes, a 50+ minute exclusive look into the making of the movie with Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and the cast and filmmakers, and a slew of behind-the-scenes featurettes.
The final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz begins with Elphaba and Glinda estranged and living with the consequences of their choices. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now demonized as The Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hidden in the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced Animals and desperately trying to expose the truth she knows about The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum).
Glinda, meanwhile, has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness for all of Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City and reveling in the perks of fame and popularity. However, under the instruction of Madame Morrible (Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh), Glinda is then deployed to serve as an effervescent comfort to all of Oz, reassuring the masses that all is well under the rule of The Wizard.

For his work on Steven Spielberg's West Side Story (2021), Tazewell became the first African American male costume designer to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design. He eventually won said award for his work on Wicked (2024) at the 97th Academy Awards
