Exclusive: Roofman cast interviews with Channing Tatum, Kirsten Dunst, and director Derek Cianfrance

Hitting theaters on Oct. 10 from Paramount Pictures is the crime drama Roofman, directed by Derek Cianfrance and starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, with Ben MendelsohnLaKeith StanfieldJuno TempleMelonie DiazUzo AdubaLily ColliasJimmy O. Yang, and Peter Dinklage.

Based on an unbelievable true story, Derek Cianfrnace's Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald's restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman.

After escaping from prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys "R" Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom who is drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.

The screenplay is written by Derek Cianfrance & Kirt Gunn. It's produced by Jamie Patricof, Lynette Howell Taylor, Alex Orlovsky, Duncan Montgomery, Dylan Sellers.

Tatum was last seen in Zoe Kravitz’s directorial debut, Blink Twice, released theatrically by Amazon MGM., Deadpool & Wolverine, Fly Me to the Moon, Magic Mike's Last Dance, The Lost City and the critically embraced MGM film, Dog, co-directed by Tatum and Carolin

Dunst was last seen in A24 war pic Civil War from director Alex Garland. Dunst was previously nominated for an Academy Award for her role in 2021's The Power of the Dog. She is best known for her role as Mary Jane Watson in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy.

Cianfrance is also known as the creator of the HBO series I Know This Much Is True. He was nominated for a Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Sound Of Metal. His previous films include Blue Valentine, and The Place Beyond the Pines.
