Exclusive: Shemar Moore talks S.W.A.T. Exiles and coming back as "Hondo"
Premiering on Friday, September 25 on STARZ is the adrenaline-fueled new adventure S.W.A.T. EXILES, the spin-off of the fan favorite, hit series “S.W.A.T.” Starring Shemar Moore as Sergeant II Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson Jr., new episodes of the 10-episode first season will be available to stream in the U.S. weekly every Friday only on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms through the finale on November 27.
The cast includes Ronen Rubinstein, Lucy Barrett, Adain Bradley, Zyra Gorecki and Freddy Miyares. Coming back as guest stars as Jay Harrington, Patrick St. Esprit, and David Lim.
Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson is tasked with leading his squad of young, untested officers on dangerous, high-stakes missions – weekly cases that range from drug busts to hostage rescues to gang warfare – but beneath the action lies a darker setup: the team has been hand-picked to fail. As tensions flare and betrayals surface, Hondo must fight to hold the group together, even as his own leadership and sense of self are tested.
