Premiering on Tubi on November 27, 2025 is Sidelined 2: Intercepted, where Noah Beck and Siena Agudong return for Tubi’s Hit YA Original Film Sidelined: The QB and Me.
Based on Wattpad sensation “The QB Bad Boy and Me” by Tay Marley, SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED follows freshman star quarterback Drayton (Noah Beck) as he grapples with the weight of expectations after a devastating setback, while dancer Dallas (Siena Agudong) begins to question the future she thought she wanted. As their high school relationship begins to unravel under the pressures of distance and self-discovery, they’ll learn that the bravest versions of themselves emerge when they let life redirect them.
The sequel will also see Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms), Sage Linder (Descendants 3) and Roan Curtis (Firefly Lane) joining the cast, as well as James Van Der Beek (Pose) and Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale) returning to their roles from the original film. Other new cast members include Kolton Stewart as Zach, Terry Mullany as Ryan, and Michael Xavier as Coach Watson.
Gillespie plays Skyler a musician and CalArts Senior and Curtis plays Charlotte, a USC senior working as a student athlete trainer.
Justin Wu directed the sequel, with Thunderbird Entertainment’s Great Pacific Media, Marshall Arts and WEBTOON Productions producing. Produced by McKenna Marshall, Adam Wescott, Maxwell Mitcheson, Lindsay Macadam and Jason Fischer, and Wattpad WEBTOON Studios’ Aron Levitz, David Madden and Jason Goldberg.
