Exclusive: Sonequa Martin-Green & Showrunner/ Exec Producer Michelle Paradise talk Star Trek: Discovery Season 4

Premiering today, Thursday, Nov. 18, exclusively for Paramount+ is Season Four of Star Trek: Discovery, starring Sonequa Martin-Green (Captain Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Saru), Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker), Blu del Barrio (Adira) and recurring guest star Ian Alexander (Gray). Filmmaker David Cronenberg is also reprising his role as the mysterious Federation operative named Kovich.

Season four of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY finds Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery facing a threat unlike any they’ve ever encountered. With Federation and non-Federation worlds alike feeling the impact, they must confront the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all.

BlackFilmandTV.com’s Wilson Morales recently caught up with Showrunner/ Exec Producer Michelle Paradise and Sonequa Martin-Green, who was named Captain at the end of Season 3 and is the first time a Black woman has sat in the captain’s chair in a live-action “Trek” series.
