Exclusive: Tati Gabrielle talks Kicking Butt with Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg in Uncharted

Hitting theaters this week from Sony is the action adventure film Uncharted, directed by Zombieland and Venom director Ruben Fleischer and starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. The film has a theatrical release on February 18, 2022.

Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Sony Pictures' Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

Based on the PlayStation video game by Naughty Dog, the film will also feature Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle. Produced by Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner, and Ari Arad.

Gabrielle, known for her roles as Gaia on The CW sci-fi TV series The 100, Prudence on the Netflix original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Marienne Bellamy on the Netflix original series You, plays the movie’s female lead Jo Braddock. Braddock is a mercenary working with Moncada against Nathan and Sully Gabrielle also had a voice role in Sony Pictures Animation’s The Emoji Movie. In speaking with Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales, Gabrielle talks about playing Braddock and getting to kick Holland and Wahlberg’s butts in the film.
