Washington Territory - 1854 - The matriarchs of two very different families — one of wealth and privilege bound by blood, the other a found family of orphans and outcasts bound by love and necessity — find their fates linked by two crimes, an awful secret, a star-crossed love, and a piece of land with silver underneath. The collision echoes the American struggle of the haves and have-nots, in a place just beyond the reach of justice.

Anderson plays Constance, the matriarch of the wealthy Van Ness family who inherited her husband’s mining fortune, then doubled it. Despite the town’s inherent bias against women, her money, charm and ruthlessness created a network of political allies. For her, power, wealth and lineage trump all.

Headey plays Fiona, a strong, devout matriarch who, unable to have her own children, took in four orphans to create her own family. Driven by a higher purpose – and a strong-willed Irish temper – her faith and love for her family trump all. Headey is best known for Headey portrayed Cersei Lannister on all eight seasons of HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Johnson plays Albert Mason, one of Fiona’s sons. He was Emmy nominated for a guest part on The Last of Us. He was previously seen on Showtime’s Your Honor, as well as in films like All the Bright Places, Dark Phoenix, Native Son, and The Hate U Give.
