Exclusive: Toni Braxton's He Wasn't Man Enough cast interviews with Essence Atkins, Yvette Nicole Brown, & Anthony Roy Davis

Airing on Lifetime on Nov. 22 as part of the network’s Love of a Lifetime November romance movie slate is Toni Braxton’s He Wasn’t Man Enough, which stars Toni Braxton alongside Essence Atkins, Yvette Nicole Brown, Anthony Roy Davis and Thomas Cadrot

Braxton plays bestselling author Mel Montgomery, whose world unravels when she discovers her boyfriend Richard (Thomas Cadrot) has been deceiving her. When Mel learns Richard is now engaged to her estranged college friend Monica (Atkins), the two women, with the help of Mel’s loyal best friend Candy (Brown), set aside old wounds to stand together. What begins as betrayal becomes a story of resilience and solidarity—proving Richard picked the wrong trio to mess with. Because in the end, it was never about the man who failed them, but the women who chose each other.  Always and without question… sisters over misters.

Toni Braxton’s He Wasn’t Man Enough is executive produced by Toni Braxton, Tanya Lopez and Kenneth Crear for Lifetime. Stan Brooks directs and executive produces. Gemma Martini and Jonathan Shore also serve as executive producers, and produced by Lighthouse Pictures from a script written by Aireka Muse, Tara Knight, and Angela Nissel.
