Exclusive: Y'Lan Noel and Matthew Law talk Nemesis & playing Coltrane Wilder and Isaiah Stiles

Now playing on Netflix is the crime thriller series Nemesis, created and executive produced by Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole. Kemp also serves as the showrunner.

The cast includes Matthew Law, Y'lan Noel, Cleopatra Coleman, Tre Hale, Domenick Lombardozzi, Jonnie Park, Ariana Guerra, Gabrielle Dennis, Michael Potts, Sophina Brown, Cedric Joe, and Jeff Pierre.

Nemesis is the story of two men on either side of the law, the tale of what happens when Coltrane Wilder (Noel), an unstoppable force (an expert criminal) meets an immovable object (a brilliant police detective), Isaiah Stiles (Law). What starts as a series that aims to subvert the heist genre at every turn, amped with thrilling life-or-death stakes, family dynamics and explosive action, actually gives birth to an exploration of what drives us, sustains us, and ultimately destroys us.

Coleman plays Coltrane Wilder’s wife, Ebony Wilder. Hale plays Coltrane Wilder’s right-hand man Darren “Stro” Stroman. Lombardozzi (Tulsa King) plays Dave Cerullo. Park (Quiz Lady) plays Chris Choi, the crew’s getaway driver. Guerra plays Yvette Cruz, a LAPD Detective.

Guest cast include Moe Irvin, Quincy Isaiah, Jay Reeves, Mike O’Malley, Stephanie Sigman, Khalilah Joi, Shane Johnson, Siua Ikale’o, Dawnn Lewis, Mark Feuerstein, and Chris Bauer.
