Chelsea Film Festival Announces Its 2020 Winners And Extends Run To Oct. 25

The 8th Annual Edition of Chelsea Film Festival (CFF), which announced its winners broadcasted live on FilmFestival+, has been extended through Sunday, October 25, 2020 due to popular demand by audiences and industry alike, featuring over 130 films from all over the globe and international celebrities like Paul Haggis, Robin Weigert, James Donahower, Meryem Uzerli, the Duplass brothers, Paul Calderon and many more. The Closing Awards show was presented by Festival Founder & Director Ingrid Jean-Baptiste and Actor, Producer James Donahower.

CFF held its 2020 Edition virtually on FilmFestival+ (also accessible through AppleTV) from October 15-19, 2020 and introduced American and foreign films to the public. 

Turkish filmmaker Eylem Kaftan was the big winner at the festival with six awards for her film HIVE. It won the the Grand Prix Award for Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Actress

Before she dies, Ayşe’s mother tells her that she will leave Ayşe her much loved bee hives to manage. Ayşe’s modern life has moved her away from the mountains of her childhood – a life in which the bees and their honey were central.
