Netflix has released the official trailer and poster to the western revenge film “The Harder They Fall,” directed by Jeymes Samuel. The film will have its world premiere at the 65th BFI London Film Festival on October 6 before hitting select theaters October 22 and on Netflix November 3.

The film stars Jonathan Majors (Da 5 Bloods, Lovecraft Country), Golden Globe and SAG Winner Idris Elba (Beasts of No Nation, Mandela Long Walk to Freedom), Academy Award Winner Regina King (If Beale Street Could Talk, Watchmen), Emmy Award Nominee Zazie Beetz (Joker, Atlanta), Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods, The Good Fight), Lakeith Stanfield (Knives Out, Sorry to Bother You), Danielle Deadwyler (Watchmen, Atlanta), Edi Gathegi (X-Men: First Class, StartUp), RJ Cyler (White Boy Rick, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), and Deon Cole (Black-ish, Grown-ish).

Written by Jeymes Samuel and Boaz Yakin, the film is produced by Shawn Carter, James Lassiter, Lawrence Bender, Jeymes Samuel. G. Mac Brown serves as an executive producer.

When outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck (Idris Elba) is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge. Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler)—and a surprising adversary-turned-ally. Rufus Buck has his own fearsome crew, including “Treacherous” Trudy Smith (Regina King) and Cherokee Bill (LaKeith Stanfield), and they are not a group that knows how to lose.
