Trailer to ‘Masters of the Universe’

Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios have released the official trailer for Masters of the Universe, directed by Travis Knight and written by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham. The film opens in theaters on June 5, 2026.

The live-action adaptation of the classic 1980s toy brand stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms, Camila Mendes as Teela, Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, James Purefoy as King Randor, Morena Baccarin as Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, and Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena.

In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.
