Trailer To Nate Parker’s Newborn Starring David Oyelowo
Mansa and AMC Theaters have released the trailer to Newborn, written and directed by Nate Parker.
Starring David Oyelowo, Olivia Washington, Barry Pepper, and Jimmie Fails, NEWBORN will be released theatrically on April 10th exclusively at AMC Theatres, in partnership with Nate Parker and David Oyelowo’s joint production and distribution label Mansa Studios.
NEWBORN follows Chris Newborn (Oyelowo) who after serving seven years in solitary confinement seeks to rebuild his life and reconnect with his family only to find that freedom has become a terrifying psychological battleground.
Producers include Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Aaron L. Gilbert, and Christina Lee Storm.
The production designer is two-time Oscar nominee Jan Roelfs (Gattaca, Orlando). The director of photography is Elliot Davis (Out of Sight, The Birth of a Nation). The costume designer is Emmy nominee Christopher Hargadon (Once Upon a Mattress, The Umbrella Academy).
