Exclusive: Echo Valley cast interviews with Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney and Domhnall Gleeson

Premiering globally on Apple TV+ June 13, 2025 is the thriller Echo Valley, directed by Michael Pearce and starring Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney, and Domhnall Gleeson.

Written by Brad Ingelsby, the cast also includes Fiona Shaw, Edmund Donovan, Albert Jones, and Kyle MacLachlan.

In this edge-of-your-seat thriller, Kate (Julianne Moore) is a mother struggling to make peace with her troubled daughter Claire (Sydney Sweeney) — a situation that becomes even more perilous when Claire shows up on Kate’s doorstep, hysterical and covered in someone else’s blood. As Kate pieces together the shocking truth of what happened, she learns just how far a mother will go to try to save her child in this gripping tale of love, sacrifice and survival.

Among the producing team includes Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, Kevin J. Walsh, and Brad Ingelsby .

Oscar winner Moore was recently seen in the Netflix limited series Sirens, Todd Haynes’ acclaimed Netflix pic May December and Starz’s Mary & George, Moore also did Pedro Almodóvar’s first English-language feature, The Room Next Door; and the action thriller Control opposite James McAvoy.

Sweeney, best known for her roles in HBO’s White Lotus and Euphoria, also starred and was an executive produced Sony’s 2023 romantic comedy hit Anyone But You and headlined the nun horror movie Immaculate. Sweeney is an EP on Paul Feig’s The Housemaid in which she stars opposite Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar for the thriller opening on Christmas Day. She is also starring and producing Scandalous! in which she stars as Kim Novak. Colman Domingo is making his directorial debut with that Miramax project.

Gleason was recently seen in both Apple TV+’s Fountain of Youth, and in the FX limited series The Patient opposite Steve Carell, for which Gleeson was nominated for both a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award. He also starred in the limited series Alice & Jack opposite Andrea Riseborough, which he also executive produced and also o-starred in David Mandel’s HBO limited series White House Plumbers, playing John Dean opposite Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux.
