Exclusive: Goat interviews with Gabrielle Union, Caleb McLaughlin, Tyree Dillihay, and Patton Oswalt
Hitting theaters on February 13th from Sony Pictures Animation is the animated family film Goat by Tyree Dillihay, making his first feature after directing eps of "Good Vibes", "Da Jammies", "Bob's Burgers", "Good Times" animated series. The film is produced by famed NBA basketball player Steph Curry, inspired by his experiences playing in the NBA.
Co-directed by Adam Rosette (an animation story artist), the voice cast includes Caleb McLaughlin as Will, Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry as Lenny, Nicola Coughlan, with Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Jenifer Lewis, Aaron Pierre, Patton Oswalt, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Eduardo Franco, Sherry Cola, Jelly Roll, and Jennifer Hudson.
From Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, comes GOAT, an original action-comedy set in an all-animal world. The story follows Will (voiced by Caleb McLaughlin), a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by all the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will's new teammates aren't thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionize the sport and prove once & for all that "smalls can ball!"
The screenplay is from Aaron Buchsbaum and Teddy Riley. Produced by Michelle Raimo Kouyate, Erick Peyton, Adam Rosenberg, Rodney Rothman, and Stephen Curry.
