Exclusive: Idris Elba talks Hijack Season 2 and getting into chaos like Jack Bauer
Premiering globally on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 on Apple TV, followed by one new episode weekly, every Wednesday until March 4 is the highly anticipated season two premiere of “Hijack,” starring and executive produced by SAG Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Idris Elba.
Created by George Kay (“Lupin,” “Criminal”) and Jim Field Smith (“Criminal,” “Litvinenko”), the cast also includes Christine Adams, Max Beesley, and Archie Panjabi returning for the new season. Newcomers include Christian Näthe, Clare-Hope Ashitey, Lisa Vicari, Toby Jones, Karima McAdams, and Christiane Paul.
