Premiering Sunday, February 28 at 8 P.M./7C on TV One is its new original film DON'T WASTE YOUR PRETTY directed by Tamara Bass from a script written by Katrina O'Gilvie. Based on the eponymous novel penned by award-winning author and media personality Demetria L. Lucas, the cast of includes Keri Hilson ("Think Like A Man," "Almost Christmas"), Redaric Williams ("The Yard," "The Young And The Restless"), Deborah Joy Winans ("Greenleaf"), Jasmine Burke ("Saints & Sinners"), Kaye Singleton ("American Soul") and Raney Branch ("Being Mary Jane," "Grey's Anatomy").

DON'T WASTE YOUR PRETTY follows a group of tightly knit friends as they sort out their turbulent life issues and love lives - always turning to one another to figure out their next move when jobs, romance or family interactions prove more complicated than they had ever anticipated.

After years of extreme career focus, Mykah (Hilson) finally stops making excuses and starts looking for love after she's gifted Demetria Lucas' advice book, 'Don't Waste Your Pretty.' Encouraged by her best friends, she embraces the dating scene by taking their suggestions on speed dating, making online connections, and hitting the nightlife. But she soon discovers love might be right in front of her.

Best known as a singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress, it’s not that often we see Hilson in films. The Decatur, GA native has appeared in producer Will Packer’s Think Like a Man, director David E. Talbert’s Almost Christmas, and director Nzingha Stewart’s Love By The 10th Date. She will next appear opposite Tank and LeToya Luckett in Lifetime’s Lust: A Deadly Sins Saga. In speaking with BlackFilmandTV.com correspondent Sidnee Michelle, Hilson talks about her experience working on the TV One.
