Exclusive: Lennie James and Tobi Bamtefa talk Mayor of Kingstown Season 4

Currently airing on Paramount+ is the Mayor of Kingstown, co-created by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon.

Season four stars Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Edie Falco, BAFTA Award® winner Lennie James, Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan- Headley and Nishi Munshi.

In season four, Mike’s (Renner) control over Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left in the Russians’ wake, compelling him to confront the resulting gang war and stop them from swallowing the town. Meanwhile, with those he loves in more danger than ever before, Mike must contend with a headstrong new Warden to protect his own while grappling with demons from his past.

Lennie James plays Frank Moses (season 4), a respected gangster from Detroit who allies with Bunny to take control of Kingstown. James, known for his role as Morgan Jones in The Walking Dead franchise, recently headlined and executive produced the BBC limited series Mr. Loverman, starred in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opposite Daisy Edgar-Jones in the West End and lent his voice to Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King.

Tobi Bamtefa plays Deverin "Bunny" Washington, the leader of the Crips in Kingstown, and a drug dealer who does business out in the open. Bunny has a good relationship with Mike and is the closest thing to a friend that Mike has.
