Hitting theaters on May 23 from Disney is Lilo & Stitch, the 2025 live-action remake of the beloved 2002 animated classic. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the cast includes Chris Sanders (Co-director of the original) returning to voice Stitch, along with Sydney Elizebeth Agudong as Nani, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, Zach Galifianakis, and introducing Maia Kealoha as Lilo.
A remake of the 2002 animated movie that's written & directed by Dean DeBlois & Chris Sanders. Telling the story of the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and artificially-created koala-like extraterrestrial named Stitch, who's engineered to be a force of destruction. Other aliens, social workers, and the warmth of the bond of family figure into the proceedings.
The screenplay is written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright. Based on the original Lilo & Stitch movie written by Chris Sanders & Dean DeBlois. Produced by Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin. Made by Walt Disney Pictures and Rideback Productions.
