Exclusive: Matt Bomer, Laverne Cox talk Jonah Hill's 'Outcome' Movie with Keanu Reeves
Premiering April 10 on Apple TV+ is Outcome, directed by Jonah Hill who also stars in it and co-wrote it, the cast includes Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, David Spade, Kaia Gerber, Roy Wood Jr., Laverne Cox, Drew Barrymore, and Martin Scorsese.
Outcome is a dark comedy that centers on Reef Hawk (Keanu Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star who must dive into the depths of his hidden demons after he is extorted with a mysterious video that’s sure to shatter his image and end his career. With the support of his lifelong besties Kyle (Cameron Diaz) & Xander (Matt Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Jonah Hill), Reef embarks on a soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer.
The script is written by Jonah Hill and Ezra Woods. Produced by Matt Dines, Alison Goodwin, Jonah Hill.
Bomer recently starred and executive produced Showtime’s adaptation of Thomas Mallon’s novel Fellow Travelers alongside Jonathan Bailey. For his role of Hawkins ‘Hawk’ Fuller in the limited series, Bomer received Golden Globe, Critics Choice and SAG Awards nominations. He also earned praises for his role opposite Bradley Cooper in Netflix’s Oscar-nominated Maestro.
Cox plays the character Virginia Allen Green alongside Keanu Reeves. Cox is known for starring in Netflix’s prestige series Orange Is the New Black and Inventing Anna, as well as Prime Video’s Clean Slate. Cox is also set to star alongside David Duchovny in the indie feature Soapbox, directed by Andrew Jay Cohen. She is also promoting her upcoming memoir, which has a release date of June 9. Additionally, she recently appeared in the documentary Heightened Scrutiny, which was scheduled for a special streaming window from March 30 – April 5 on Kinema.
