Exclusive: Mortal Kombat II cast interviews - Karl Urban, Ludi Lin, Jessica McNamee, Mehcad Brooks & more

Hitting theaters on May 8 from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. is Mortal Kombat II, starring Karl Urban stars as Johnny Cage (from his own movie Uncaged Fury), and joined by Adeline Rudolph as Kitana, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Tati Gabrielle as Jade, Lewis Tan as Cole Young, and Damon Herriman as Quan Chi, with Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han, Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi / Scorpion.

Directed by Simon McCuoid from a script written by Jeremy Slater, the film is the follow-up to the most recent live-action Mortal Kombat movie that opened 2021. Based on the successful video game series originally created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. Produced by Todd Garner, Toby Emmerich, Simon McQuoid, E. Bennett Walsh, and James Wan.

From New Line Cinema comes the latest high-stakes installment in the blockbuster video game franchise in all its brutal glory, Mortal Kombat II. This time, the fan favorite champions—now joined by Johnny Cage himself—are pitted against one another in the ultimate, no-holds barred, gory battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn that threatens the very existence of Earthrealm & its defenders.
