Hitting theaters on May 8 from Inaugural Entertainment is the thriller Neglected, directed by David Lipper from a script he co-wrote with Adam G. Levine. The cast includes Josh Duhamel, Dylan Sprouse, David Lipper, Elena Sanchez, Jeremy and Jason London, and Til Schweiger.
On his first official day of retirement, Detective Shaw (Josh Duhamel) is called back to the precinct when a blood-drenched teenager named AJ (Dylan Sprouse) surrenders with a chilling ultimatum: he has buried Shaw’s teenage son alive. Plunged into a living nightmare, Shaw is forced to revisit a trail of grisly homicides as the oxygen in his son’s remote grave runs out. In a pulse-pounding race against the clock, Shaw must navigate a precinct on the brink of mutiny and a suspect who thrives on psychological warfare, as his investigation unearths a devastating truth: Shaw wasn't chosen at random.
The film was produced by David Lipper and Robert A. Daly Jr., along with Ryan Winterstern, Denise Loren, Mark Canton, and Dorothy Canton.
Duhamel was recently seen in Netflix’s family drama series Ransom Canyon, which was renewed for a second season. He also starred in Not Without Hope andopposite Jennifer Lopez in the hit Amazon rom-com Shotgun Wedding, and the action comedy London Calling.
Sprouse’s recent film credits include After We Collided, Beautiful Disaster, and Beautiful Wedding.
A stunt performer known for work in "NCIS: New Orleans," "The Walking Dead," and numerous action films, Sanchez’s acting credits include Rewind and Bone Face.
Prior features from Lipper include the action thriller Murder at Hollow Creek, starring Jason Patric, Mickey Rourke, and Jack Kesy, as well as horror pics Wolf Mountainand Death Link.
