Hitting theaters on August 21st from Black Bear is the comedy film Spa Weekend, starring Leslie Mann, Michelle Buteau, Anna Faris, and Isla Fisher. In the spirit of Bad Moms and The Hangover, Spa Weekend is a hilarious and heartfelt comedy about four lifelong friends – Jane, Coco, Sophie, and Mel – who realize that somewhere between all of their careers, relationships, families and everyday responsibilities, they have forgotten how to take care of themselves and each other. The film was produced by Suzanne Todd (Bad Moms) for Suzanne Todd Productions and John Friedberg (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare) for Black Bear, with Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler executive-producing.
Mann is is best known for comedy hits Knocked Up, This Is 40 and Blockers. Fisher’s notable comedy credits include Wedding Crashers and Definitely, Maybe alongside Ryan Reynolds.
